He performed a little later than Al Jolson, but there were similarities between the two men, and Cantor had very large expressive eyes and was nicknamed "Old Banjo Eyes". He had a very successful radio show in the 1930s. Some of his movies include: Thank Your Lucky Stars, Hollywood Canteen, and Whoopee! There was a movie biography of his life called "The Eddie Cantor Story". He passed away in 1964 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this contract has been personally autographed (signed) by Eddie Cantor! The contract is between Eddie Cantor's agent, the William Morris Agency, and the Elmira Lodge of B'Nai Brith, where Cantor agreed to appear in return for a guarantee of at least $2,500, with him getting 50% of the gross receipts from the show (and $1,250 as a down payment).
