Who will dare?"; the second of the Universal Frankenstein movies, and the only example I am aware of where a sequel is clearly superior to the original movie!; this is James Whale's masterpiece, and almost everyone agrees it is among the finest movies ever made, regardless of genre) starring Boris Karloff (as the Frankenstein monster), Colin Clive (as Dr. Henry Frankenstein), Valerie Hobson (as the bride of Dr. Frankenstein), Elsa Lanchester (in the title role as the bride of the Frankenstein monster, and also as Mary Shelley!), Una O'Connor, Ernest Thesiger (as Dr. Pretorius), E.E. Clive, O.P. Heggie, John Carradine, Dwight Frye (as Karl), Gavin Gordon, and Neil Fitzgerald NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned three examples of this herald (although two of them had the colors reversed, with a blue cover and brown interior, while this one has a brown cover and blue interior), and only one in the last 10 years! Condition: very good. The herald was folded across the middle and there is slight wear on that fold and some very tiny tears around the edges. The blank back cover has darkened and the herald is somewhat fragile, but overall, it has survived in about as good condition as one could hope (see our images)! Learn More about condition grades
