She was a major lead actress of the 1920s and early 1930s, but she pretty much retired in 1932, and then came out of retirement in 1939, when she continued as a character actress. Some of her movies include: The Champ, Five and Ten, and The Mortal Storm. She passed away in 1988 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that these stills all feature a specific actor or actress (sometimes portraits, but often in a scene from a movie that they were in). They come from the collection of Ken Jones, who was an author of many books about old-time actors, including many character actors. He collected on all the stars that he enjoyed, and this is a rare opportunity to get a number of stills at one time from this specific star! Condition: good to very good.
