A 1973 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]; 9 pages) (Learn More) Winning, the 1969 James Goldstone automobile Indy car racing sports action thriller ("Winning... is Everything!"; "Their love, like their world is ruthless, amoral and fascinating!"; about a race car driver who is so enveloped in his career that he might lose his wife to his rival) starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Robert Wagner, Richard Thomas, David Sheiner, Clu Gulager, Barry Ford, Bobby Unser, Tony Hulman, Dan Gurney, and Karen Arthur. Note that this movie was originally intended to be released with a "G" rating. But it had some pretty mature sex scenes, so it was revised to an "M" rating. But the posters had already been printed with a "G" rating, so the studio put snipes over the ones that had not been sent to theaters, and sent studio-issued snipes to the theaters that had already received the posters.
