An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Wintertime (also released as "Winter Time"), the 1943 John Brahm romantic ice skating musical ("Lyrics and Music by Leo Robin and Nacio Herb Brown"; "It's got rhythm! It's got romance! It's got revelry!") starring Sonja Henie, Jack Oakie, Cesar Romero, Carole Landis, S.Z. Sakall, Cornel Wilde, Helene Reynolds, and Woody Herman and His Orchestra NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds, and some separation and tiny dots of paper loss on the top horizontal foldline, and in the top quarter of the vertical foldline. There was minor wear on the other folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
