An Original 1968 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 22 3/4" x 32 1/2") (Learn More) Joi-uchi: Hairyo Tsuma Shimatsu (released in the U.S. as "Masaki Kobayashi's Rebellion" and "Samurai Rebellion"), the 1967 Masaki Kobayashi Japanese samurai warrior adventure melodrama ("A Samurai of Greatness: Jeopardizing life in a challenge to supreme authority... For love") starring Toshiro Mifune, Yoko Tsukasa, Takeshi Kato, Masao Mishima, Tatsuo Matsumura, Michiko Otsuka, Shigeru Kohyama, Isao Yamagata, Tatsuya Nakadai, and Tatsuyoshi Ehara NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Janusz Rapnicki Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster was folded across the middle and there were scuffs and tiny dots of surface paper loss on that fold. There were pinholes in the corners and tiny paper loss in the left of the bottom blank border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to paperbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
