Original Vintage Lobby Card (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Trouble with Wives, the 1925 Malcolm St. Clair silent romantic comedy ("Who will say what is The Trouble With Wives?"; "Do They - Spend too much, Nag too much, Flirt too much, Know too much?"; "Are They - Too frivolous, Too serious, Too jealous, Too indifferent?"; "The Master book on this subject will be opened to you if you see - 'The Trouble With Wives'"; about a very jealous wife who thinks her husband is cheating on her, partly because of things his best friend says, and there is a pretty woman who seems to be the most likely candidate for him to be cheating with, and later the wife catches him with that woman, but it turns out his best friend has just married her, so the wife forgives him) starring Florence Vidor, Tom Moore, Esther Ralston, Ford Sterling, and Lucy Beaumont. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a hand-colored card. In the days of silent film prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have lobby cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color the cards one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match. Condition: fine. Learn More about condition grades
