An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked German Movie Poster (measures approximately 23" x 33") (Learn More) Four For Texas, the 1963 Robert Aldrich gambling casino cowboy western comedy ("It's a daisy!"; "They're bustin' up the West like it's never been busted up before!"; "The far out story of the far west..."; "Take to the hills boys!"; "How the West was lost!" "How the West was lost with an assist by") starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Anita Ekberg, Ursula Andress, Charles Bronson, Victor Buono, The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Joe DeRita; billed as "Guest Stars"), and Bob Steele NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Rolf Goetze Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a horizontal image, unusual for German posters of this period! Condition: good to very good. The poster had writing on the back of the top left that bled through in the background above Andress' head (but not interfering with the signature of the artist, and solely in the white background), and there are some creases and tears in the border next to that. There were smudges in the top right white background area. Otherwise, the poster was in pretty nice condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
