Note that this movie was remade by Frank Oz in 1988 as "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The coloring of each transparency has changed over the years, and our consignor prepared a "color corrected" version of one transparency (through PhotoShop), and we have an image of the transparencies as they appear alongside the color corrected version, but of course, the auction is for a group of 3 transparencies. Note that these are "studio-issued" transparencies. What are they? They were produced by the studio but are not the camera original. They are very high quality and were created in quantity by the studios and sent to media outlets or other places that had need of the very highest quality image for reproduction purposes (in newspapers, magazines, or elsewhere). A clear border around a 4x5 transparency denotes duplication from a negative source, a black border denotes duplication from a positive source. Each of the transparencies is in a plastic sleeve (but we removed each and scanned them, so that bidders could see just how high quality they are). They will be sent to the winner of the auction in their sleeves. Condition: good. The color of the transparencies has changed from how they originally were, but otherwise, they are in nice condition.
