An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Jason Robards Jr. was a stage and movie actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. His father was major silent stage and screen star, Jason Robards Sr. He had limited success in New York City in theater, TV, and radio before becoming a star with his lead role on the stage in "The Iceman Cometh", which he immediately followed with the lead role in "Long Day's Journey Into Night" (both plays by Eugene O'Neill). He was married to Lauren Bacall for many years. Some of his movies include: Melvin & Howard (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Once Upon a Time in the West, A Thousand Clowns, Toys in the Attic, All The President's Men (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Julia (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film). He passed away in 2000 at the age of 78.

Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Jason Robards! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic!
