An Undated (probably 1960s) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Unfolded German Movie Poster (measures approximately 23" x 33") (Learn More)

A Nous La Liberte (literally translates to "We Have Freedom"), the classic 1931 Rene Clair French musical comedy starring Henri Marchand, Raymond Cordy, Rolla France, Paul Olivier, and Jacques Shelly. Note that Charlie Chaplin liberally "borrowed" from the plot of this movie for his classic "City Lights". When the producers of "A Nous La Liberte" attempted to sue Chaplin, director Rene Clair testified that ALL filmmakers owed a huge debt to Charlie Chaplin, and that NO filmmakers should ever consider suing Chaplin, and of course, that ended that lawsuit!
