Some of his movies include: On The Waterfront (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), A Month of Sundays, The Kid, Mars Attacks!, Pawnbroker (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), No Way to Treat a Lady, and In The Heat Of The Night (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film). He passed away in 2002 at the age of 77. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Rod Steiger! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
