An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Riot on Sunset Strip, the 1967 Arthur Dreifuss AIP Los Angeles California non-conformist anti-establishment teen political thriller ("The most shocking film of our generation!"; "See for yourself their Mod, mad world... without law or license, morals or manners, God or goal!"; "Meet the Hippies... The Teenyboppers with their too-tight capris... And the Pot-Partygoers -- out for a new thrill... A new kick!") starring Aldo Ray, Mimsy Farmer, Michael Evans, Laurie Mock, and Tim Rooney. Note that this movie was based on the Sunset Strip curfew riots (also known as the hippie riots) which took place in 1966 to protest a 10pm curfew law. Celebrities such as Sonny & Cher, Jack Nicholson, and Peter Fonda attended the gathering (the latter two were detained by police), and the event inspired the protest song "For What It's Worth", written by Stephen Stills, and performed by by Buffalo Springfield.
