An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Steamboat Bill Jr. (released in some English-speaking countries as "Steamboat Bill Junior"), the classic 1928 Charles Reisner & Buster Keaton romantic father-son sailing ship adventure comedy (about a long lost son who returns to his tough, gruff sailor father, and he is initially a great disappointment to him) starring Buster Keaton (in the title role as William Canfield Jr.), Ernest Torrence, Tom McGuire, Tom Lewis, and Marion Byron. Note that this is the movie that includes the classic sequence of Buster Keaton in a hurricane, where the front of a house frame falls on top of him, and the window from the second floor saves him from death!

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1928 posters and lobby cards from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only auctioned an insert and two different scene cards (plus a few stills) from this movie until we received this great lobby card, which is in nice condition! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. The card has slightly darkened in the extreme outer edges of the blank borders, and there is tiny paper loss and a faint stain in the bottom right blank corner. Otherwise, the card is in really nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
