Note that this was one of three movies (essentially a trilogy) that were released in 1938, 1939, and 1940. The first was "Detstvo Gorkogo" (The Childhood of Maxim Gorky). The second was "V Lyudyakh" (On His Own). The third was "Moi universitety" (My University). Artist: Jan Lenica Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had a fine brown scuff mark in the top center (it is mostly quite faint, except in the top of the man's back). Otherwise, the poster was in pretty nice condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
