Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Rare Style One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Bullitt, the classic 1968 Peter Yates San Francisco California crime car chase action thriller ("The word 'cop' isn't written all over him - something more puzzling is."; "There are bad cops and there are good cops - and then there's Bullitt."; "Bullitt comes to this theatre soon. That ought to shake up the place pretty good. Not many freaky cops like Bullitt around. You look at the Italian shoes and the turtleneck and you have to wonder. You listen to the official beefs about 'personal misconduct,' 'disruptive influence,' you figure he's got to be up for trade. But when some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give Bullitt the mop. They weren't exactly doing him a favor. But they've done a great big one for you."; "Detective Lt. Frank Bullitt - some other kind of cop. Pity the guy he works for."; "Based on the novel 'Mute Witness' by Robert L. Pike"; about a detective who drives a 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback while pursuing professional hitmen who murdered the wrong guy and let's not forget the really cool chase scenes!) starring Steve McQueen (in the title role "as Bullitt"), Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, Robert Duvall, Simon Oakland, and Norman Fell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is the "regular" one-sheet for Bullitt. There also is an "advance" one-sheet that says "Bullitt comes to this theatre soon". Bullitt is an oddity among 1960s titles. One sees the advance poster far more than the regular poster, which is quite rare! Note that we are also selling the advance one-sheet elsewhere on eBay this week. Condition: good to very good. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was in good to very good condition. There was an extra vertical foldline 1" to the left of the regular one. There was wear on all the foldlines and wear in the corners. There were smudges in the solid white area to the right of the word "STEVE" at top. There was a 2" tear going through the "Q" of "MCQUEEN" and the "A" of "AS". Whoever restored the poster did not have colors that were an exact match for all of the foldlines, and so the restoration on the folds is somewhat noticeable (more so the closer you get to the poster).
