An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Ruggles of Red Gap, the 1923 James Cruze silent comedy cowboy western (based on the novel by Harry Leon Wilson; about a couple in a western town who end up with an English valet, and how he tries to teach them manners, and both the valet and the town learn a lot from each other) starring Edward Everett Horton (billed as "Edward Horton"; in his fourth movie, in the title role as Ruggles), Ernest Torrence, Lois Wilson, Fritz Ridgeway, Charles Ogle, and Louise Dresser. This movie was remade with the same title with Charles Laughton in the lead role in 1935, and was remade yet again with Bob Hope in the lead role, this time titled "Fancy Pants" in 1950. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned three glass slides from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card!
