An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Walter Abel was an actor from the 1910s to the 1980s. Some of his movies include: The North Wind's Malice, The Three Musketeers, Hold Back the Dawn, The Affairs of Susan, Night People, Mirage, and Grace Quigley. He passed away in 1987 at the age of 88. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Walter Abel! Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!
