An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) That Certain Woman, the 1937 Edmund Goulding rich man/poor girl romantic melodrama ("She gave the man she loved to the woman she hated"; about a legal secretary who marries the son of one of her firm's biggest clients, and the father has the marriage annulled, not knowing that the young woman is pregnant) starring Bette Davis ("America's Greatest Actress in the Greatest Role of Her Career!"), Henry Fonda, Ian Hunter, Anita Louise, Donald Crisp, Hugh O'Connell, and Ben Welden NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this style B half-sheet (and only one example of the style A half-sheet), and it sold for $1,666! Also note that this poster can be rolled, but if so, we would only put it in a 6" tube for fear of its condition lessening through rolling it tighter. We would suggest that the winning bidder consider sending it in a large flat package, but that will be the choice of that winning bidder. Condition: very good. The poster has darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen posters of this period. It is not fragile, which is a big plus. It has a few small tears, pinholes, and tiny surface paper loss in the blank borders, with a white stain in the top right blank corner, and a small circular stain in the upper left of the poster in the back of Fonda's hair. Someone put a couple of pieces of clear tape on the back of tears, but otherwise made no attempt at restoration. There are a few creases around the edges of the image, but not in the great central artwork of the stars. Learn More about condition grades
