An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Divorcee, the 1930 Robert Z. Leonard (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic marriage infidelity melodrama ("A Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer All-Talking Picture"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Norma Shearer (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Chester Morris, Conrad Nagel, Robert Montgomery, and Florence Eldridge

Important Added Info: Note that the last time we auctioned a lobby card from this movie was 30 years ago! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The card had two vertical folds. One ran down the left edge of Shearer's face and the other ran slightly right of center down Montgomery's face, both running the length of the card vertically. The card also had a small tear in the background to the left of Shearer's forehead. It had a crease in Montgomery's upper lip and in his chin, with some tiny stains in that area. It also had some tiny stains scattered in the dark colored areas. Someone pressed and flattened the card. They put a piece of tape on the back of the tear in the background to the left of Shearer, and performed slight tough up to the front of that area, but otherwise pretty much left the card as it was. You can see signs of the defects described above, but certainly, additional restoration could be performed.
