An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Poor, Dear Margaret Kirby, the 1921 William P.S. Earle silent romantic love triangle working woman marriage melodrama ("By Kathleen Norris"; "From rags to riches - and happiness!"; about a woman whose financially strapped husband tries to commit suicide, but he survives, and she is forced to take care of him and make a living, and that is also complicated by the re-emergence of the husband's former girlfriend) starring Elaine Hammerstein (in the title role as Margaret Kirby), William B. Donaldson, Ellen Cassidy, Helen Lindroth, and Warburton Gamble NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and black tape, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the black tape or the edges of the slide well. Condition: fair. There are scattered stains between the two panes of glass (they are a color that does not show at all in our large digital scan, but which can be seen in our photograph of the slide). The stains are almost all in the background areas. Learn More about condition grades
