An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More)

the 1945 double-bill release ("Double horror program"; "Spooks! Chills! Thrills!") of Crimes at the Dark House, the 1940 George King horror thriller ("Wilkie Collins dramatic thriller") starring Tod Slaughter, Sylvia Marriott, Hilary Eaves, Geoffrey Wardwell, and Hay Petrie AND Famous Side-Show Murders, the circa 1940s horror thriller. The only advertising we have ever seen for this is as the lower half of a double-bill with a 1940 Tod Slaughter movie, "Crimes at the Dark House", and that poster has a great image of a gorilla attacking a naked girl and says "Spooks Chills Thrills!", but nothing else! We don't know if this was a re-titling of another movie, and whether it was a feature film or a short, and whether it ever played anywhere except on this double-bill! If anyone knows anything more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster (which features some of the most wonderfully wacky art we have ever seen on a poster like this!) contains unclothed women, so we have placed a white bar over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual poster does not have those white bars! Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm].

Condition: good. The poster was folded an extra time and has paper loss at several crossfolds, with some tears on some of the folds and in the borders. There are some tape repairs on the back of the poster, and the poster is fragile.
