Note that this poster ships in a very long tube (at least 33" long, but possibly 50" long or more). Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. You can tell how long of a tube this poster needs to ship in by looking at the shorter dimension of its length and width and then adding 4" to that (so a 47" x 63" poster will need to ship in a 51" long tube).What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: poor to fair. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some small tears and tiny paper loss on parts of the folds. The borders had darkened slightly. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, after the poster was backed, it became heavily stained down the right 1" to 3", both in the poster and in the linen. It absolutely must be immediately removed from the old linen and re-backed. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept this extremely significant defect.
