Trouble Shooter, the 1939 William Clemens detective crime mystery melodrama starring Bonita Granville (in title role as Nancy Drew), Frankie Thomas, John Litel, Aldrich Bowker, and Willie Best. Note that original movie paper of any kind from any of the four Nancy Drew movie adaptations of the late 1930s are EXTREMELY rare! It seems likely that dedicated Nancy Drew collectors located what little material there was in the movie poster hobby in the 1960s and removed it then. One almost never sees even a single lobby card from any of the four movies offered for sale! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm]. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. The card has two defects in it, in addition to having darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period. One is that the bottom and right borders were trimmed, but it does not affect the small writing at the bottom, only blank paper. The other is that the card was used for a re-release, or in another country, and because the distribution was not handled by Warner Bros., they overprinted most of the top green area with solid green, covering the part that said "PRESENTED BY WARNER BROS. PICTURES INC." In addition, there are some faint smudges scattered throughout the card, including slightly in the faces. In spite of these defects, the card can certainly still be displayed and enjoyed, but bear them in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
