Sophia is Magnificent as 'Madame'!") starring Sophia Loren (in the title role), Robert Hossein, Julien Bertheau, Marina Berti, Annalia Cade, Laura Valenzuela, and Renaud Mary. Note that this movie was released in the U.S. in 1962 under its original title, and then had a wider re-release in 1963 as simply "Madame", perhaps because the original title was confusing to American audiences (posters from that 1963 re-release are sometimes mistakenly sold as first U.S. releases). The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, after it was backed, it acquired small brown stains in the top and right of the excess linen and also slightly in the left excess linen, but almost every bit of it misses the actual poster. One might choose to have the excess linen trimmed to the edges of the poster (which many people do), or one might deal with it in a different way.
