An Original Vintage Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Still (Learn More) Leila Hyams was an actress from the 1920s to the 1930s (her film career only lasted 12 years). She is best remembered for her major roles in Freaks and Island of Lost Souls, two early 1930s horror classics. Some of her other films include: Ruggles of Red Gap, Stepping Out, and The Big House. She passed away in 1977 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that someone wrote "Leila Hyams" on the back in pencil, and there is a partial snipe that has "ams, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer", so we think it is quite likely the image is of Leila Hyams. If anyone knows more about this still (especially whether it is from a movie or a candid), please e-mail us and we will post it here.
