An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Goldfish, the 1924 Jerome Storm silent romantic comedy (about a young wife married to a young songwriter, and she wants a glamorous life that he can't provide, so she leaves him and marries a succession of more and more important men, but when he writes a hit song, she realizes she loved him all along, and they are reunited) starring Constance Talmadge, Jack Mulhall, Frank Elliot, Jean Hersholt, and Zasu Pitts. Note that the title of the movie refers to the young couple vowing when they are first married that if either ever feels trapped in their marriage, they can give the other a bowl of goldfish, which will signify how they feel and mean the marriage is over without any words. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving complete copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this scene card in all our years of auctioning, and that example had restoration! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There is a tear at bottom center that was repaired with tape from the back and there are some smudges and a few tiny stains around the edges.
