Die Schwarze Natter (literally translates to "The Black Adder"), the 1913 Franz Hofer German silent spy circus romantic melodrama short (about two rival spies working in a circus [one as a dancer and the other as a horseback artist] and the dancer learns that her adversary is receiving secret information from a visitor who is in love with her so she schemes to acquire both the man and the information by framing her opponent!) starring Emmerich Hanus, Miriam Horwitz, Margarete Hubler, Hermann Seldeneck, and Ludwig Trautmann

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was printed in Germany long before World War II. There are very few German movie posters from before World War II in existence (because of the massive paper shortages in Germany during World War II), and most of those few are in museums.

Condition: fair to good. The poster is in lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the borders and foldlines/crossfolds, and there are one or more areas of significant foldline and/or crossfold separation. It is somewhat fragile. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this poster prior to placing a bid and please do not bid unless you can accept the defects described above, or you are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
