Les Sorcieres de Salem (released in the U.S. as "The Crucible"), the 1957 Raymond Roleau French/East German historical witch hunt melodrama ("There are several ways for a woman to ruin a man... She can give him a taste for Vice...... Or she can torture him with Virtue!"; "Jean-Paul Sartre's adaptation of Arthur Miller's play 'The Crucible'"; Miller based his play on the Salem Witch Trials in Colonial Massachusetts, but everyone "knew" that it was a thinly veiled criticism of the then-recent Communist witch hunts in Washington, D.C., led by Senator Joe McCarthy) starring Simone Signoret, Yves Montand, Mylene Demongeot ("A Sensational New Star! DEMON by name DEMON by nature!"; "billed as 'Mylene Demongeot'"), Alfred Adam, and Pierre Larquey

Important Added Info: Note that these stills measure 9 1/2" x 11 3/4" [24 x 30 cm].

Condition: good to very good. There is an embossed censor stamp at upper right and there are some pin holes around the edges of the stills with some repaired with tape from the back. There are scuff marks and some minor creases throughout the stills (mostly around the edges).
