Or she can torture him with Virtue!"; "Jean-Paul Sartre's adaptation of Arthur Miller's play 'The Crucible'"; Miller based his play on the Salem Witch Trials in Colonial Massachusetts, but everyone "knew" that it was a thinly veiled criticism of the then-recent Communist witch hunts in Washington, D.C., led by Senator Joe McCarthy) starring Simone Signoret, Yves Montand, Mylene Demongeot ("A Sensational New Star! There is an embossed censor stamp at upper right and there are some pin holes around the edges of the stills with some repaired with tape from the back.
