Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Medium Cool, the classic 1969 Haskell Wexler journalism photography television news pseudo-documentary ("Beyond the age of innocence... into the age of awareness"; "Written & directed by Haskell Wexler"; about news photographers, partly set at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, and incorporating actual footage from the Convention) starring Robert Forster, Verna Bloom, Peter Bonerz, Marianna Hill, Harold Blankenship, Christine Bergstrom, Peter Boyle (in his first credited movie role!), and Haskell Wexler. Note that this was one of the rare mainstream movies that (like Midnight Cowboy) was released with an X rating, but because some theaters refused to show such movies, it was successfully appealed and changed to an R rating. The studio created snipes to cover the original rating on many posters. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!).
