Original Vintage Lobby Card (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Crown of Lies, the 1926 Dimitri Buchowetzki silent royalty romantic melodrama (a story of a servant girl in the U.S. who dreams of being a queen, and then some men from a mythical small country show up and declare her their missing queen, and bring her back there, where she truly becomes the queen, but there is more to the story!) starring Pola Negri, Noah Beery Sr., Robert Ames, Charles A. Post, Arthur Hoyt, and Michael Vavitch. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a hand-colored card. In the days of silent film prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have lobby cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color the cards one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match.

Condition: very good to fine. There is a stain in the bottom right corner and pinholes in the top corners of the image area.
