If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The entire poster had darkened. It had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and many tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on the vertical foldline, with a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. There was a 2" tear in the right of the bottom foldline in the man's cheek and neck, and many pinholes, tears, and some paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
