An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Teaser Printer's Test One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 40 1/4" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Robocop 2, the 1990 Irvin Kershner science fiction (sci-fi) police action crime thriller sequel ("He's back to protect the innocent."; "Based on characters created by Edward Neumeier & Michael Miner"; "Story by Frank Miller") starring Peter Weller (in the title role as Robocop), Nancy Allen, Dan O'Herlihy (billed as "Daniel O'Herlihy"), Tom Noonan, Belinda Bauer, Gabriel Damon, Thomas Rosales Jr., John Glover, Mario Machado, John Doolittle, and Leeza Gibbons NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This is a very rare uncut printer's test poster (often referred to as a "printer's proof")! Before a poster was printed in large quantities, the printer would print a limited number of posters as "test" posters. Because they needed to be shown to people at the studio, people in the art department, the stars, etc, they would print a number of test posters and distribute them to these people. Some of them would be fully trimmed, but often they would leave the color chart on the left edge of many of the posters, which added an extra inch to the width of the poster (which explains why the poster measures 27" x 40 1/4" [69 x 102 cm]). Once these printer's test posters were shown to the various people in a position to "OK" them, the printer would print the full print run of the posters. Not only is a printer's test poster far more rare than a regular poster, but it is also 100% genuine as there is no fear of purchasing a reproduction! Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 27" x 40 1/4" [69 x 102 cm]. Also note that this is a teaser one-sheet (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Finally, note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: good. The poster was cut from a larger poster (almost surely a printer's test poster.) The image is in pretty nice condition, but please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
