As a political activist, he founded the advocacy organization People for the American Way in 1981 and has supported First Amendment rights and progressive causes. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 101. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Norman Lear! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
