In prison! All his wealthy friends turned against him! Only this girl guessed what was in his embittered heart!"; "I'll hock my soul to get what I want!"; "Original story by Samuel G. Engel and Hal Long") starring Tyrone Power Jr. (in the title role as Bob Cain/Johnny Apollo), Dorothy Lamour, Edward Arnold, Lloyd Nolan, Charley Grapewin, and Lionel Atwill

Important Added Info: Note that this still is from a special set of "color glos" stills, which means it was printed on a photo type of paper and have a glossier front, with more vivid colors. This is something the studios experimented with in the late 1930s and early 1940s, for both 8x10 stills and 11x14 stills. Also note that the movie is called "Dance with the Devil" on this still, which was the working title for this movie (it was sniped over with the final title)! Finally, note that this still measures 10 1/4" x 13 1/2" [26 x 34 cm], but it has not been trimmed.

Condition: good. The still was printed with the working title of the movie, and a studio-issued corrective credits snipe was glued over that area.
