An Original Vintage Theatrical Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Billy the Kid, the 1941 David Miller outlaw cowboy western ("MGM'S biggest Technicolor outdoor drama since 'Northwest Passage'!") starring Robert Taylor (in the title role as Billy the Kid; he was 30 years old, and no "kid"!), Brian Donlevy, Ian Hunter, Mary Howard, Gene Lockhart, Lon Chaney Jr., Henry O'Neill, Grant Withers, Dick Curtis, and Frank Puglia. Note that this movie was a re-make of the 1930 version starring Johnny Mack Brown in the title role! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "color-glos" still. This was a special kind of color printing that the studios experimented with in the late 1930s and 1940s. It has a different effect than regular color printing, and color-glos stills were made in both an 8x10 and 11x14 format, primarily only for major releases. They are far more rare than regular color or black & white stills. Condition: good to very good.
