Where's Waldo, is a series of children's books originating in 1987 and created by British illustrator Martin Handford. The books consist of a series of detailed illustrations depicting many people with the goal being to find a character named Wally (the name was changed to Waldo for the American release of the books) hidden in the picture. The franchise also spawned other media including a TV series, a comic strip and a series of video games.
