NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: James Bama Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases, scuffs, and tiny paper loss on parts of the folds. The poster was displayed and the colors in the image faded noticeably. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The person who backed the poster did a nice job on backing it, and they touched up the colors in the left three-quarters of the image, but left Newman's face as it was. It is very noticeable when you compare this poster to an unfaded example, but it certainly can be displayed and enjoyed as it is, and most people would likely not realize about the fading. However, please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the fading and the restoration it has had. Learn More about condition grades
