Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus, the 1970 circus poster ("The Greatest Show on Earth"; "The International House of Pancakes salutes 100 years") featuring art of multiple scenes throughout the history of the circus. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. The modern version of the circus started in 1919 when the Barnum & Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth, a circus created by P. T. Barnum and James Anthony Bailey, was merged with the Ringling Bros. World's Greatest Shows. With weakening attendance and high operating costs, the circus closed on May 21st, 2017 after 146 years.
