And the situation is well in hand!"; "The Marines' Greatest Hour!") starring John Wayne (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), John Agar, Adele Mara, Forrest Tucker, Wally Cassell, James Brown (NOT the famous singer!), Richard Webb, Arthur Franz, Julie Bishop, James Holden, Peter Coe, and Richard Jaeckel NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned five examples of this poster in the last 31 years (and the last one sold for $905!). Condition: fair to good. The poster is lightly rippled throughout and there are several patches of slight discoloration scattered in various areas. It has substantial creases, tears, bits of paper loss and areas of separation along portions of the vertical foldline and its crossfolds (the entire lower vertical foldline is completely separated). The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right and there are pinholes around the edges and some portions of those different vertical foldlines. There are several tape repairs on back of the vertical foldline (especially the lower vertical foldline which is completely repaired with tape from the back) and someone mainly used conservation tape, but there are a few older pieces of brown paper tape on back as well. Fortunately the very rare poster is otherwise "mostly all there" and after proper restoration it will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
