An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Brewster's Millions, the 1945 Allan Dwan man-who-must-spend-one-million-dollars-in-sixty-days-to-get-his-inheritance comedy ("It's a HOWLUVA lot of fun!"; "So you think its easy to spend $1,000,000 in thirty days, EH?"; "Produced just for the HOWL of it by Edward Small"; "From the novel by George Barr McCutcheon and Stage Play by Winchell Smith and Byron Ongley") starring Dennis O'Keefe (in the title role as Montague 'Monty' Bewster), Helen Walker, June Havoc, Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson, Gail Patrick, Mischa Auer, Nana Bryant, John Litel, Joe Sawyer, Neil Hamilton, Herb Rudley, and Thurston Hall. Note that this has proven to be an extremely popular concept for a movie, for there have been versions of it made in 1914, 1921, 1926 (with a female Brewster!), 1935, 1945, 1961, and then again in 1985! The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the foldlines. There was an 8" slightly diagonal tear just under the left end of the top foldline and some pinholes, creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster.
