An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 17 1/2" [36 x 44 cm]) (Learn More) Jump Into Hell, the 1955 David Butler Vietnam First Indo China War historical military action thriller ("The 'sealed-orders' guys who ripped out of the skies to tear their way into history!"; "The story of the gallant stand at Dienbienphu"; "Gisi ...she was no angel but she was a kind of heaven after the Jump Into Hell"; "Roughest spot of all was the target named for Simone"; "The hill they took they named for Madeleine"; "Screaming new excitement from Warner Bros.!"; "The sealed-orders' guys who ripped out of the skies to tear their way into history!"; "The story behind the story of the leaping one-man armies who raided and grenaded down from the skies into the hottest spot on earth!"; "Those leaping raider-grenaders who made the fantastic 'Jump into Hell!'"; "Written by Irving Wallace") starring Jacques Sernas (billed as "Jack Sernas"), Kurt Kasznar, Arnold Moss, Peter van Eyck, and Marcel Dalio. Note that the battle of Dien Bien Phu was the First Indo China War, which was between the French and the Vietnamese. Little did anyone know at that time that less than a decade later, the U.S. would get sucked into this conflict, and that it would cost tens of thousands of U.S. servicemen their lives and bitterly divide the United States and sway a presidential election! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. Note that the window card was folded down the center at one time. Because it would not fit in our standard sized package even if it were re-folded, we don't want to re-fold the window card prior to mailing, and we believe that re-folding the window card would lessen its condition (we never roll window cards into a tube). If you specifically request it, we will re-fold this window card, but you will not be able to return it. Condition: fair to good. Learn More about condition grades
