Kaufman & Katharine Dayton; about a woman who is married to the Secretary of State and the granddaughter of a President, and she wants her husband to become the next President, and she throws lots of parties and tries to gain influence for him, but she has a rival who is married to a Supreme Court Justice who has similar plans for her husband) Jane Cowl, Ann Mason, Florenz Ames, Don Beddoe, Helen Brooks, and Leslie Bingham. Note that this play was adapted into a movie, which starred Kay Francis, two years later. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Jane Cowl AND Ann Mason! Our consignor obtained this autograph years ago in a group of mostly unsigned items, and they do not remember anymore about it than that, except that they felt it was authentic at that time, and so do we.
