Torchy Gets Her Man, the 1938 William Beaudine newspaper female reporter journalism crime comedy melodrama (one of a series with the same main character; "Based on characters created by Frederick Nebel") starring Glenda Farrell (in the title role as Torchy Blane), Barton MacLane, Tom Kennedy, Willard Robertson, and Thomas E. Jackson. Note that the first Torchy Blane movie was made in 1937, called "Smart Blonde", and it starred Glenda Farrell in the lead role. There were a total of nine Torchy Blane movies. Farrell played the lead in seven of them. In two of the ones near the end of the series, Jane Wyman and Lola Lane filled in for Farrell, perhaps because she had other commitments. The series only lasted for two years, but was quite popular.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster is somewhat discolored (typical of Warner Bros. items from this era). There is separation at the crossfold and ends of the foldlines (more so at top) that has been repaired with tape from the back.
