An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Constant Nymph, the 1943 Edmund Goulding romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the Novel and Play by Margaret Kennedy and Basil Dean"; about a woman who has a cousin whose husband is a composer, and she falls madly in love with him, even though she knows it is so very wrong) starring Charles Boyer, Joan Fontaine (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Alexis Smith, Brenda Marshall, Dame May Whitty, Peter Lorre, Joyce Reynolds, and Eduardo Ciannelli NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. This poster has been linenbacked, but it was not very well done, either because the restorer did not do a very good job, or because the years since it has been linenbacked have not been kind to the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Generally, it had creases and tiny tears on parts of some foldlines, and some faint scuffs scattered in the image. There were pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer put paint over most of the white background areas and borders, to "even them out", but this is not all that noticeable.
