An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Young Donovan's Kid, the 1931 Fred Niblo child adoption family relationship romantic crime melodrama ("Bonded in one great picture!"; "Based upon Rex Beach's novel 'Big Brother'"; about a mobster who adopts the young brother of a fellow gangster who has been killed; after much bonding, the boy is taken away, and the gangster goes nuts robbing people, but then, under the influence of the minister's daughter, he completely reforms and gets an honest job!) starring Richard Dix (in the title role as Jim Donovan), Jackie Cooper ("Sensational star of 'Skippy'"; in the title role as Midge Murray), Marion Shilling, Frank Sheridan and Boris Karloff (in a small part, one of an amazing 16 movies he made in 1931; of course, at the end of that year, he starred in Frankenstein and that made him a major star!). Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine.
