An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) The Old Corral, the 1936 Joseph Kane singing cowboy western musical ("Original story by Bernard M. Conville") starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Sons of the Pioneers, Champion, Lon Chaney Jr., Edward Platt, and Irene Manning NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. The poster had some creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss on just a few foldlines, but the image area of the poster was overall in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking. The borders of the poster had creases, tears, smudges, and pinholes, and the person who did the restoration put new blank white paper over all the borders to even out the appearance (but the small writing at the bottom of the poster was not covered over). This is a common technique used by several top restorers. It is done so well that the majority of collectors are not even aware it has been done, and many do not feel it to be a significant detraction (since it is only blank white area).
