Our consignor says that this was also sold at news stands, and that it was "sent to members of the Reich Film Chamber". The only one of these we have seen is this one from 1940-1941, which covers the upcoming releases of all the major German film companies, with illustrated articles about upcoming movies, actors, and directors. There are ads for many movies made by the Nazis that were later banned, including Jud Suss! Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this German campaign book, or any other volumes of Der Deutsche Film! In addition to the campaign book, someone put German newspaper clippings from many of the movies advertised with the book, and they will be sent to the winner of this auction along with the book. Note: We have 13 images of this campaign book, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 13 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 3. Condition: very good.
