Selznick) starring W.C. Fields ("as Micawber"), Lionel Barrymore ("as Dan Peggotty"), Madge Evans ("as Agnes"), Maureen O'Sullivan ("as Dora"), Edna May Oliver ("as Aunt Betsey"), Lewis Stone ("as Mr. Wickfield"), Frank Lawton (in the title role "as David, The Man"), Freddie Bartholomew (in the title role "as David, The Child"), Elizabeth Allan ("as Mrs. Copperfield"), Roland Young ("as Uriah Heep"), Jessie Ralph (as Nurse Peggotty), Frank Lawton (as David, The Man), Jean Cadell, Lennox Pawle, Basil Rathbone, and a "Star Cast of 65 Players". Note that MGM took a great chance in casting W.C. Fields in the role of Micawber. No doubt everyone expected Fields to greatly ham up the role, and turn this serious subject into slapstick, but instead, he gave a wonderful performance, and added greatly to the movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that W.C. Fields accepted the minor role of Micawber in this major MGM production, and since he was not one of the lead stars, he is not featured prominently on the posters, and he only appears on this single lobby card from the set, which shows a wonderful portrait of Fields! Condition: fine. There are faint creases and smudges around the edges of the card, but overall, the card is in really wonderful condition! Learn More about condition grades
