An Unfolded German Special Poster (measures 23 1/2" x 35 1/2" [60 x 90 cm]) (Learn More)

Hau den Lukas, the 1929 German poster promoting a masquerade festival to be held in the German city of Leipzig on February 15th. The festival was held at the "C.T." (a concert/cafe venue in Leipzig), and it seems that this was an annual festival. Note that this poster features Schicktansky art of a man with a mask next to a hau den lukas (a traditional carnival game known as a high striker, strength tester or strongman game in English). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has a few small tears in the borders (one in the top border has a small piece of tape on the back).
